MENOPAUSE ANXIETY

Going through menopause anxiety can be a frustrating time of life for women. Menopause is simply the final pause of menstruation. This phase of a woman's life is part of the natural aging process . Menopause is the period ending the female reproduction phase. It starts with the end of menstruation.

The ovaries gradually reduce the level of production of hormones (estrogen and progesterone), that regulate the menstrual cycle and child bearing is not possible. Health professionals agree that menopause usually happens when a woman is around 51-52. The full age range is between 42 to 56.

  • Healthier diet, help your body to control hormone levels and reduce the risk for diseases.
  • Take a good sleep.
  • Use of relaxing herbs can help to reduce menopause symptoms. Some herbal teas can help in relaxing.
  • Avoid caffeine containing foods, sugar and excessive salt.
  • Taking of supplements such as calcium and magnesium can be beneficial to reduce menopause symptoms.
  • Try deep, slow abdominal breathing.
  • Regular exercises and yoga will release endorphins in our blood which creates a feeling of happiness and will improve our mental health.
  • Keep your sugar level in your blood under control.
  • Cut down on jobs or share some jobs with your family members.
